The thunderstorm before this show made most folks skip it, but not me. This show was the highlight of the day for me. I saw it on the back of the bonnaroo map, and said, "holy sh**, I can't miss accoustic moe!".For a while we didn't thgink the show was going to happen because of how badly the storm was raging. Me and my bonna-buddies took shelter behind one of the tents, where we happened upon a large plastic tarp. After waiting out the storm, people slowly started to make it to the stage. There could only have been 60 or 70 people to start with. As the show kept going, the crowd got louder and louder. As I heard the open lyrics to SOADog, I turned around to see that the crowd had grown immensely. The storm started brewing again, and you could see the crew motioning the guys to cut it off...to no avail. They wailed through an awesome buster, then you can hear rob saying 'I'm sh*tting my pants'. The show was over, and the true beauty of bonnaroo was shown by a little 5-piece band from NY. Awesome.

what moe. is all about!
I was actually at this show. Bonnaroo 2004 is the highlight of my life so far, and this was the highlight of my bonnaroo. I was standing front row through the rain for about thirty minutes when they came on stage I was so close to Rob i probably could have punched him in the face. Therefore i can hear myself in the microphone almost better than i can hear him. (thats only a good thing for me sorry)It was supposed to be an interview but moe said screw lets just play, i especially enjoyed the jam into buster and the acoustic version of Enter Sandman, what an oxymoron a acoustic version of a metallica song sung by Chuck but you gotta love it! They wanted to play for the fans that sat through the rain to hear them, and they did. it was greatly appreciated with all the lightning going around.

I was at this show....All I can say is we were walking past the sonic stage and saying to my friend David.."Hey that is Moe. setting up!" We went over and they played some of the best stuff of the whole weekend. We were on our way to see Galactic but storms were on the way. Picture a small little stage...one that you can pull as a trailer behind a f-150. There we maybe 30 or 40 people tops there. Very small crowd. They got on stage despite the risk of sever weather. It was crazy to hear the thunder and see the lightning and them just jamming there hearts out. The storm got so close that they cut there set short "beacause lightning is all around us." If you love Moe. or a chill ass show download this one!!! Made a huge impact on me.

let's hear it.
this the first time i've heard an acoustic moe.show and the quality of the recording is great and the music is great as well the only draw back is the inevitible audience sing-along.

I always seek out acoustic moe. shows because I like the way they harmonize the vocals and you can really hear it while playing acoustic. This
show is nice example of that. I wasn't at Bonnaroo so I cant visualize the scene, but the sound is pretty nice and the playing, as usual is great too....moe. never disapoints me. Enter Sandman is done in usual moe. arrangement of the song, with a twang of country...nice little 1 disc show.
